JOBS AT PFA
The Punjab Food Authority invites applications from suitable candidates, food and drugs, applying the forensic examination testing of fertilizers, pesticides, food preservatives, and related international benchmark testing for competent personnel to join our team. Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals on a contract basis for an initial period of three years, extendable on satisfactory performance, subject to the need of the authority. The positions and eligibility criteria are outlined below:

1. Job 1
   • Job Title & Posts: Director (Testing)
   • Age: 35-50
   • Technical Positions: 01
   • Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemistry or Pharmacology or Pharmacy from a university/institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Minimum 10 years’ experience in analytical chemistry, preferably in forensic examination or testing of food, drugs, fertilizers, pesticides, food preservatives, and related fields.
   • Salary (Rs.): 250,000
2. Job 2
   • Job Title & Posts: Senior Scientist (Lab)
   • Age: 35-50
   • Technical Positions: 02
   • Qualifications: Ph.D. in Genetics or Entomology or Plant Pathology from a university/institute recognized by Higher Education Commission. Minimum 7 years’ experience as an analyst in forensic laboratories, preferably involving testing of food, drugs, fertilizers, pesticides, food preservatives, and related fields.
   • Salary (Rs.): 200,000

   • Job Title & Posts: Senior Scientist (Lab)
   • Age: 25-40
   • Technical Positions: 03
   • Qualifications: M.Phil or M.Sc. (Hons.) in Genetics or Entomology or Plant Pathology from a university/institute recognized by Higher Education Commission. Minimum 5 years’ experience as an analyst in forensic laboratories, preferably involving testing of food, drugs, fertilizers, pesticides, food preservatives, and related fields.

   • Job Title & Posts: Junior Scientist (Lab)
   • Age: 23-35

   • Qualifications: M.Sc. or B.Sc. (Hons.) in Genetics or Entomology or Plant Pathology from a university/institute recognized by Higher Education Commission. Minimum 3 years’ experience as an analyst in forensic laboratories, preferably involving testing of food, drugs, fertilizers, pesticides, food preservatives, and related fields.

   • Job Title & Posts: Administrative Officer
   • Age: 25-40

   • Qualifications: Master’s degree (16 years of education) in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field from a university/institute recognized by Higher Education Commission. Minimum 5 years’ experience in administrative or managerial roles in public or private sector.
