Requirement

In continuation of Advertisement INF-KRY/3776/2024, INF-KRY No.3036/2024 & INF-KRY No.3182/24 and in pursuance of Health Department, Govt. of Sindh for appointment of Teaching Faculty & Other Employees, SMBBMCL invited letter No.SO-II(T)-H&CE-2/1/2009/SMBBMCL/(CP-VIII), dated 23-08-2024, the following Sindh Domicile holders Faculty is required for Basic as well as Clinical Sciences & Other Employees on special pay package for 02 years contract basis as per PM&DC requirement. The intended candidates may also visit PM&DC website for further confirmation.

1. Professor

1. Departments: Basic Sciences: Anatomy, Bio-Chemistry, Physiology, Pathology (Haematology/Chemical Pathology/ Histo-pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine). Clinical Sciences: General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopaedic, Psychiatry, Oncology, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Clinical Haematology, Neurology, Nephrology, Anaesthesia, Radiology, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Paediatric Surgery, Neuro-Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, Accident & Emergency, Infection Diseases, Transplant (Renal/Liver/Bone Marrow) and Intensive Care Unit.
2. Qualification: M. Phil / Ph.D. and qualification with other nomenclatures OR other equivalent to MS/MD/MDS/FCPS and equivalent as per PM&DC criteria. The candidate must have PM&DC website and additional qualification certification (if available) will be given preference.
3. Experience: Three years of teaching experience as Associate Professor in the respective specialty is essential, provided that post-qualification experience as Senior Registrar or Assistant Professor for not less than 5 years.
4. Research: A total of 15 research publications in journals recognized jointly by PM&DC are required with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years.

2. Associate Professor

1. Departments: Same as for Professor.
2. Qualification: Same as for Professor.
3. Experience: Two years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the relevant specialty is essential.
4. Research: A total of 10 research publications in journals recognized jointly by PM&DC are required with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years.

3. Assistant Professor

1. Departments: Same as for Professor.
2. Qualification: M. Phil and qualification with other nomenclatures OR other equivalent to MS/MD/MDS/FCPS and equivalent as per PM&DC criteria. The candidate must have additional certification (if available) for the relevant specialty.
3. Experience: Two years teaching experience in the relevant specialty.
4. Research: A total of 5 research publications in journals recognized jointly by PM&DC.

4. Senior Registrar

1. Departments: Same as for Professor.
2. Qualification: PM&DC Level III Qualification like FCPS / MS / MD / OR equivalent postgraduate qualification recognized by PM&DC.
3. Experience: Working experience in Medical Institutions shall be preferred.

5. Demonstrator

1. Departments: Basic Sciences: Anatomy, Bio-Chemistry, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine.
2. Qualification: MBBS or equivalent qualification fully recognized/registered by PM&DC. Candidate must have additional qualification certification.
3. Experience: Candidates must have experience as lecturers in the relevant specialty.

Instructoin Befor Apply:

1. Applicants with only relevant qualifications and experience should send their applications along with two photocopies each of their educational certificates/documents and experience certificates, two passport-sized photographs, a copy of their valid registration from PM&DC, and a copy of their CNIC.
2. All the required qualifications should be met categorically; otherwise, the candidate will be disqualified.
3. Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical College/Management Board reserves the right to amend/correct any error at any stage if detected later on.
4. No TA/DA will be given for appearing in tests/interviews for the above positions.
5. Candidates must ensure their eligibility as per PM&DC criteria; otherwise, their applications will not be entertained.
