Job Title

Regional Head of Litigation (Hyderabad and Sukkur)

Reporting To
Wing Head – Litigation Recovery & SAM

At least a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized local or international university/college/institute by the HEC.

Preference will be given to candidates holding an LLB or LLM.

A minimum of 5 years working in Litigation.
Candidates with similar experience in banking or large organizations will be given priority.
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required
Familiarity with relevant banking, civil, and property laws.
Strong understanding of court procedures and litigation processes.
Goal-focused and driven, with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
Skilled in using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
To carry out litigation policies and procedures within the designated region.
To offer legal advice on everyday legal issues.
To support the Head of Litigation by proactively monitoring and overseeing significant legal cases/portfolio.
To assist in managing and dealing with litigation cases. Review and coordinate legal matters in the region.
To perform research on various legal issues.
To develop strategies for managing the litigation portfolio and reducing legal risks.
To ensure support and facilitation measures are established for resolving disputes efficiently and professionally.
To collaborate with external legal counsel, tracking the progress of litigation and providing updates on proceedings and legal matters.
To handle legal documentation, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and requirements.
To interact with relevant internal and external parties to help resolve legal issues according to Bank policy.
To take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
