Regional Head of Litigation (Hyderabad and Sukkur)

Reporting To
Wing Head – Litigation Recovery & SAM

Education

At least a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized local or international university/college/institute by the HEC.

Preference will be given to candidates holding an LLB or LLM.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years working in Litigation.
  • Candidates with similar experience in banking or large organizations will be given priority.
  • Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required
  • Familiarity with relevant banking, civil, and property laws.
  • Strong understanding of court procedures and litigation processes.
  • Goal-focused and driven, with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Skilled in using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
  • To carry out litigation policies and procedures within the designated region.
  • To offer legal advice on everyday legal issues.
  • To support the Head of Litigation by proactively monitoring and overseeing significant legal cases/portfolio.
  • To assist in managing and dealing with litigation cases. Review and coordinate legal matters in the region.
  • To perform research on various legal issues.
  • To develop strategies for managing the litigation portfolio and reducing legal risks.
  • To ensure support and facilitation measures are established for resolving disputes efficiently and professionally.
  • To collaborate with external legal counsel, tracking the progress of litigation and providing updates on proceedings and legal matters.
  • To handle legal documentation, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and requirements.
  • To interact with relevant internal and external parties to help resolve legal issues according to Bank policy.
  • To take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
