Intro:

Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following posts for appointment in the Centre of Excellence in Solid State Physics, University of the Punjab, Lahore.

• Appointments will be purely on contract / Visiting / Adjunct (Per hour) basis for 1 year, extendable to a maximum of 3 years based on performance.
• The Centre will follow HEC eligibility criteria for the appointment of Visiting / Adjunct Associate Professor.

Visiting / Adjunct Associate Professor :

(Solid State Physics or Related Fields)

Candidates applying for this position must possess a PhD degree in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University or Institution. Equivalence is required in the case of a foreign University degree. Applicants should have 10 years of teaching or research experience in an HEC-recognized University, a post-graduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field within a National or International organization. Alternatively, candidates with 5 years of post-PhD teaching or research experience in an HEC-recognized University or post-graduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization, are also eligible. Furthermore, applicants must have 10 research publications, with at least 4 publications within the last 5 years.

Visiting / Adjunct Associate Professor :

(Physical Chemistry or Related Fields)

For this position, candidates must hold a PhD degree in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University or Institution, with equivalence required for foreign University degrees. Applicants must have 10 years of teaching or research experience in an HEC-recognized University, a post-graduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field within a National or International organization. Alternatively, candidates with 5 years of post-PhD teaching or research experience in an HEC-recognized University or post-graduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization, are eligible. Additionally, applicants are required to have 10 research publications, with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years.

Visiting / Adjunct Associate Professor :

(Bio-Nanotechnology or Related Fields):

For the position in Bio-Nanotechnology, candidates must have a PhD degree in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University or Institution, with equivalence required for foreign University degrees. They must possess 10 years of teaching or research experience in an HEC-recognized University, a post-graduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field within a National or International organization. Alternatively, 5 years of post-PhD teaching or research experience in an HEC-recognized University or post-graduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization, is acceptable. Candidates are required to have 10 research publications, with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years.
